Tibetan style Zakiram Thangka

The “God of wealth” of Zaki temple is called “zakiram” in Tibetan language. It is said that this is the worldly incarnation of the Dharma protector God “auspicious Heavenly Mother” in Lhasa city. Originally in the Han region, he came to Lhasa with a sera Temple master who went to the Han region (it is also said that he went to Tibet with Princess Wencheng) and was worshipped in Zaki Temple. It also said that the God of fortune Bodhisattva in Zaki temple is the most effective one in Tibet. All those who seek fortune come here to worship “zakiram”. Therefore, Zaki temple is recognized as the only God of fortune temple in Tibet.
